Baby Back Rib Burger / #SundaySupper

Is there anything better than a backyard BBQ? I don't think so! It's fun to cook outside, and the aroma and flavors that you get from grilling are amazing! This is hands down, the best burger I have ever had! When you eat this Baby Back Rib Burger, all of the flavors are there. You can taste the smoked, crispy, bold flavors individually and as a group and they are awesome! This burger takes some prep, but a lot of it can be made ahead of time. Once you start to grill, it comes together quickly, and you will be so happy it does. Enjoy!

Baby Back Rib Burger

Makes 1 burger
(printable recipe)

1/3 lb. Ground Chuck Burger
1/4 slab of already Smoked Baby Back Ribs
1 teaspoon Butter
1 Bakery Bun
1 slice of smoked Gouda
Mayonnaise
Mustard
Shredded Lettuce
Onion
Tomato
BBQ Sauce
Cole Slaw (here's the recipe)
Dill Pickles

Heat grill temp to medium.
Patty the burger. Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs. Remove the bones, keeping the ribs in tact as much as possible.  Place the burger on the grill and set a timer for 2 minutes. Flip over and grill for 2 more minutes. Place the ribs on the grill. Grill the ribs and the burger for 2 minutes. This time flip both the burger and the ribs and grill for 2 more minutes.
Butter the bun, and place on the grill. Grill for 2 minutes. If the burger is not done, keep it on for another 2 minutes. Place the cheese on the burger at this time. The ribs should be warm by this time.
Dress the burger with mayo and mustard on the bottom. Top with the lettuce of your choice.
Top the lettuce with a slice of tomato and onion. Add the burger. Slice thin layers of rib meat from the slab. Pile it on to the top of the burger.
Drizzle the rib meat with BBQ sauce. Top with cole slaw. Add pickles to the top of the bun.
Enjoy your Baby Back Rib Burger!

  4. Well that looks a heck of a lot better than the McRib. I was a little nervous at first. I love that you've taken a BBQ burger and improved it by adding ribs!
