Let’s get started!
– 1 pint about 300g cherry tomatoes – 1 8 oz container mini mozzarella balls (bocconcini) – 1 bunch fresh basil leaves – Balsamic glaze for drizzling
1. Begin by washing the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves. Ensure they are thoroughly dried using a paper towel. 2. Drain the mini mozzarella balls from their container. If needed, pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
3. Take a skewer and thread a cherry tomato onto it, followed by a mini mozzarella ball, and then a fresh basil leaf. Repeat this pattern until the skewer is filled, leaving a little space at each end for easy handling. 4. Arrange the assembled skewers neatly on a serving platter or dish.
5. Just before serving, drizzle balsamic glaze over the skewers. You can either drizzle it over the entire platter or individually over each skewer for a decorative touch. 6. Serve the Caprese Salad Skewers immediately as a delightful appetizer or starter, and enjoy the burst of flavors in every bite!
