- Chicken:
- 2 large boneless/skinless chicken breast
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- Salt/Pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter melted
- 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
- Sauce:
- 10.5 oz. cream of chicken soup
- 1 ½ cups milk
- 1 cup sour cream at room temp
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 oz. packet Ranch seasoning mix
Slice the chicken breasts in half lengthwise for even cooking. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Set aside.
In a bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, milk, sour cream, ranch seasoning, and onion powder until smooth.
Melt butter in the skillet and pour in the sauce mixture. Stir continuously over medium heat.
Return the chicken to the skillet, coating each piece in the sauce.
Cover and simmer for 10–12 minutes until chicken is fully cooked and the sauce thickens slightly.
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Serve hot with your favorite sides like Cucumber Avocado Salad or a chilled Shirley Temple Drink.
