- 3 Chicken Breast Fillets 350gms
- 1½ Tsp Ginger Garlic paste
- 1 Tbsp Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 Tsp Salt
- ½ Tsp White/Black pepper powder
- 250 ml Buttermilk
Flour Mix:
- 1½ Cup All Purpose Flour
- ½ Tsp Thyme
- ½ Tsp Basil
- ⅓ Tsp Oregano
- 1 Tsp Garlic salt
- 1 Tsp Dried mustard
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tsp Onion powder
- 1 Tsp Ginger powder
- 1 Tsp Black pepper powder
- 1 Tsp White pepper
- 1½ Tsp Paprika or Kashmiri Chilli powder
- ½ Tsp Cayenne pepper or Red chilli powder
- ½ Tsp Celery Salt
Egg Wash:
- 3 Egg Whites
- pinch of Salt
Marinate chicken in ginger garlic paste, vinegar, lemon juice, salt, and pepper for 30 minutes.
Add buttermilk to the chicken and marinate for 4–6 hours or overnight.
In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour with herbs and spices for the flour mix.
In another bowl, beat egg whites with a pinch of salt for the egg wash.
Dredge marinated chicken in flour mix, then dip in egg wash, and coat again in flour.
Heat oil in a deep pan to 175°C (350°F).
Fry chicken pieces in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes each side.
Serve hot!
