- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 100 g salted butter softened room temperature
- 60 g granulated sugar
- 100 g light brown sugar
- 1 egg room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- Red food color as needed for bright red color
- A few crushed Oreo biscuits around 5–6 roughly chopped
Dry IngredientsIn a bowl, whisk together:190 g flour20 g cocoa powder1 teaspoon baking soda Cream Butter & SugarsIn a large bowl, beat:100 g softened salted butter60 g granulated sugar100 g light brown sugar Wet IngredientsTo the butter-sugar mixture, add:1 egg1 teaspoon vanilla essenceRed food color (start with a few drops, adjust until deep red) Mix well until the color is even Combine Wet & DryGradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Mix until just combined Fold in OreosAdd crushed Oreo pieces into the dough.Gently fold using a spatula Wrap the OreosPlace an Oreo in the middle of each piece of dough and seal it closed. Chill the Dough Balls Chill them for 10 minutes so they hold their shape. Bake Preheat oven to 170°C (350°F)Line a baking tray with parchment paper.Scoop cookie dough balls (about 2 tbsp each) and place them spaced apart.
