– 1 cup coca cola – ½ cup canola oil – ½ cup unsalted butter – 3 tbsp cocoa powder – ½ cup mini marshmallows – 2 cups granulated sugar – 2 cups all-purpose flour – 1 tsp salt – 2 large eggs room temperature – ½ cup buttermilk or coconut milk if desired – 1 tsp baking soda – 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

1. Warm the oven up to 350 degrees. Put Coca-Cola, oil, butter, and cocoa in a sauté pan. Set the heat to medium-high and cook until the mixture boils. Once it starts to boil, turn off the heat. 2. Then add the marshmallows and mix them in with a whisk until they melt. Set the mixture aside.

3. Put sugar, flour, and salt in the mixing bowl and mix on low speed. Pour the hot cocoa mixture in slowly and keep mixing until the speed reaches medium. 4. After that, beat in the vanilla extract, eggs, buttermilk, and baking soda until everything is well mixed.

5. Spray non-stick baking spray on a 9x13 sheet cake pan. Spread out the cake batter in the pan after you pour it in. 6. Put it in the oven and bake for 40 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean.

7. The cake still has about 10 minutes to bake. In the meantime, put the rest of the butter, cocoa powder, milk, Coca-Cola, vanilla extract, and confectioners' sugar in a pot over medium-high heat. Whisk the ingredients together until they boil and are well mixed. 8. Take the cake out of the oven when it's done baking and pour the hot filling on top. Let it cool.
