  • Wash and scrub the beets until they are thoroughly clean.

  • Fill the Instant Pot's inner pot with one cup of water. Put the stainless-steel trivet that was included with your instant pot in its place.
  • Put the beet on the trivet after placing it inside the basket.
  • Put the vent in sealing mode and fasten the lid. Choose Pressure Depending on how hard or soft you want your beets, cook on HIGH for 40 to 45 minutes. Organic Pressure Discharge.

  • Peel or gently rub off the beet skin with ease as it has cooled to the touch or leave it on. Serve it in your preferred dish—a salad, a curry, or anything else.

Notes

  • Choose fresh, firm beets that are free of blemishes for the best results.
  • Trim off the beet greens, leaving about an inch of stem attached, to prevent the beets from bleeding too much color during cooking.
  • Add a cup of water to the Instant Pot before placing the beets on the trivet to create steam and help cook them evenly.
  • Cook the beets on high pressure for about 15-20 minutes, depending on their size. Larger beets may require a longer cooking time.
  • Use the natural release method to allow the beets to finish cooking and retain their vibrant color and nutrients.
  • Once cooked, allow the beets to cool slightly before peeling them. The skins should easily slide off with a gentle rub using your fingers or a paper towel.
