Fruit Salad With Citrus and Honey Recipe
This fruit salad is awesome for spring! It's fresh, healthy, and tastes amazing. The honey and citrus syrup is all-natural and really brings out the flavor of the fruit. Plus, it stops the fruit from turning brown, which is a bonus! You can also use this fruit salad as a topping for plain Greek yogurt. It's a yummy snack, especially in the evening!

For the Salad:
- 2 cups Fresh strawberries thinly sliced
- 1 cup Fresh Cherries pitted and halved
- 1 cup Blackberries
- ½ cup Raspberries
- ¼ cup Pomegranate seeds if you want
- ⅓ cup Roughly chopped Walnuts raw or toasted
- 2 tbsp Fresh Mint leaves Roughly chopped
For the Dressing:
- 3 Large Limes juiced (about 6 tbsp)
- 3 tbsp Honey
- ½ tsp Rosewater or orange blossom water if you have it
Heat up the lime juice and honey in a small pot until the honey melts. If you're using it, add the rosewater. Let it cool down.
Toss together all the fruits in a big bowl. Pour the dressing over them and give it a gentle mix.
Add the walnuts and mint, and toss everything together lightly. Then, put it on a plate or in bowls, and you're ready to enjoy it!
- You can prepare the fruit (except bananas) and the dressing a day ahead. Keep them separate in the fridge. Mix them just before serving.
- Take out the bananas and store the salad in a sealed container. It'll stay good in the fridge for 3-5 days.
- Choose ripe and sweet fruit, especially pineapples and oranges. If they're not sweet enough, add a bit more honey to the dressing to make it just right.
