Asian Rice Recipe

This Asian rice makes rice taste even better with its delicious savory flavor. It's a great side dish to have with grilled meats or fish. This rice dish is packed with flavor! It's now a regular in my kitchen. It doesn't take much extra time to make this rice compared to plain rice, but it's totally worth it. Adding a couple more ingredients makes a big difference in how tasty it is.

Notes

  • Frozen peas: If you like peas, toss them in. They add some colour and extra flavour to the rice.
  • Sesame oil: This oil adds a nutty taste to the rice, making it extra yummy.
  • Kosher salt: Just a little sprinkle if needed. It enhances the flavours without being too salty.
  • Low-sodium soy sauce: Adds a bit of salty flavour to the rice. It's not too salty, so it's perfect for seasoning.
