Ingredients
  

  • 4 pita bread rounds
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried herbs

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lay the pita bread rounds flat on a cutting board and cut each round into 8 equal-sized wedges.
  • Place the pita wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Brush each wedge lightly with olive oil on both sides.
  • If desired, sprinkle the pita wedges with salt, pepper, garlic powder, or dried herbs like oregano, thyme, or rosemary.
  • Bake the pita chips for 10-12 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on them towards the end of the baking time to prevent burning.
  • Remove the pita chips from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet.
  • Transfer the cooled pita chips to a serving bowl or plate and enjoy them with your favorite dip or as a standalone snack!
