  • 1 Cutting Board
  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Spatula

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Baguette sliced into ½ inch thick rounds
  • 1 pint Fresh Strawberries diced
  • ½ cup Fresh Basil Leaves chopped
  • 4 ounces Goat Cheese approximately ½ cup
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the baguette into ½ inch thick rounds and arrange them on a baking sheet. Brush both sides of each slice with olive oil. Toast the baguette slices in the preheated oven until they are lightly golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the oven and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the diced strawberries, chopped basil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Stir gently to coat the strawberries evenly with the balsamic vinegar and seasonings.
  • Spread a generous amount of the strawberry mixture onto each toasted baguette slice. Make sure to distribute the mixture evenly.
  • Sprinkle crumbled goat cheese over the top of each bruschetta.
  • If desired, drizzle a small amount of balsamic glaze over the assembled bruschetta for an extra burst of flavor.
  • Arrange the prepared Strawberry Bruschetta on a serving platter and serve immediately.
  • Enjoy this delicious appetizer with friends and family!

Notes

  1. Balsamic Glaze Drizzle - Drizzling balsamic glaze over the assembled bruschetta adds an extra layer of sweetness and tanginess. You can use store-bought balsamic glaze or make your own by reducing balsamic vinegar on the stove until it thickens to a syrupy consistency.
  2. Serving and Presentation - Arrange the prepared Strawberry Bruschetta on a serving platter just before serving to maintain the crispiness of the baguette slices. Garnish with additional fresh basil leaves for a pop of color and freshness. Serve the bruschetta immediately to enjoy it at its best.
