- -½ cup Mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp Plain yogurt or dairy-free yogurt for vegan option
- 1 tbsp Lime juice
- 1 Chipotle pepper in adobo sauce minced (adjust to taste for spiciness)
- 1 tsp Adobo sauce from the chipotle pepper can
- ½ tsp Garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Firstly, mix together mayonnaise and yogurt in a bowl.
Then, add lime juice, minced chipotle pepper, adobo sauce, and garlic powder.
Season with salt and pepper as per your taste.
Whisk everything until it's smooth and creamy.
Taste it and adjust the seasoning or spiciness if you want.
If you want it smoother, you can blend it in a blender.
Put the dressing in a container you can seal tightly.
You can use it right away or keep it in the fridge.
Before using it, give it a good shake or stir. Enjoy it on your salads!
- If you want the dressing to be spicier, add more chipotle peppers or adobo sauce.
- If your store has chipotle adobo sauce without the peppers, you can use 2-3 tablespoons of that instead of the peppers and sauce.
- Keep the dressing in a tightly sealed container in the fridge; it will be good for about a week.
- Use the dressing on salads, tacos, wraps, or grilled vegetables to give them extra flavour.
