- 2-4 Artichokes
- 1 cup Water
- 2 crushed Garlic cloves
- 2 Lemon wedges
- Salt
- Dipping sauce of your choice
Snap off the tough outer leaves.
Cut off the top third of each artichoke.
Use scissors to snip the sharp tips off the remaining leaves.
Trim the stem.
Pour water, add garlic cloves, lemon wedges, and a pinch of salt into the Instant Pot.
Place the artichokes in a single layer on the steamer basket, stem side up.
Close the lid and set the vent to “sealing.”
Select “Manual” mode on High Pressure.
Set the cooking time: 5 minutes for small, 10 minutes for medium, 15 minutes for large artichokes.
When done, turn the vent to “venting” for a quick pressure release.
Serve right away with your favorite dipping sauce.
