Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces 225g cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup 100g shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup 60g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons 30g finely chopped green onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup 120g chopped pecans or walnuts
  • Fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped green onions or chives, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, dried parsley, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Use an electric mixer or a hand mixer to beat the ingredients together until smooth and well combined, scraping down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula as needed.
  • Once the mixture is thoroughly mixed, use a rubber spatula to scrape it into the center of a large piece of plastic wrap or parchment paper.
  • Gather the edges of the plastic wrap or parchment paper around the cheese mixture, shaping it into a ball as you go. Twist the ends tightly to seal the cheese ball.
  • Place the wrapped cheese ball on a baking sheet or serving platter and refrigerate it for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  • If desired, just before serving, roll the chilled cheese ball in chopped pecans or walnuts to coat the outside evenly.
  • Garnish the cheese ball with fresh herbs, if desired, and serve it with an assortment of crackers, breadsticks, or fresh vegetables for dipping.
