Jolly Jingle Bar Recipe
Equipment
- 1 Baking Pan
- 1 Mixing bowl
- 1 Spatula
- 1 Measuring cups and spoons
- 1 Oven
- 1 Knife
Ingredients
- 1 stick Butter
- 1 1/2 cups Graham Cracker Crumbs
- 2 8 ounce bags Heath Pieces
- 1 cup chopped Peanuts
- 1 14 ounce can Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1 2/3 cups Nestle Toll House Holiday Morsels
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Line the 13×9″ pan with foil over the edges. The foil will make it easier to remove from the pan.
- I had graham crackers, so I made my own crumbs in the food processor.
- Place your butter in the baking dish and put it in the oven until melted.
- Add the graham crackers and mix together.
- Press the butter mix onto the bottom of the pan.
- Add your bags of heath pieces by sprinkling them evenly over the graham cracker base.
- I chopped my nuts in the food processor, and then sprinkled them on top also.
- Pour the condensed milk evenly over the mix.
- Sprinkle the Holiday Morsels over the milk.
Notes
how to ensure it’s crispiness overtime?

To ensure the crispiness of Jingle Bars over time, follow these tips:
- Proper Cooling: Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before cutting and serving. This helps the layers set and maintains their texture.
- Store Correctly: Store the cooled bars in an airtight container at room temperature. Avoid storing them in the refrigerator, as moisture can cause the layers to soften.
What can i pair the jingle bar with?
Jingle Bars pair wonderfully with a variety of beverages and accompaniments. Here are some delicious pairing ideas:
- Hot Beverages – Pair with a cup of hot chocolate, coffee, or tea for a cozy and comforting treat.
- Ice Cream – Serve alongside a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a decadent dessert. The warm-cold contrast is delightful!
- Fresh Fruit – Enjoy with a side of fresh berries or sliced fruit like strawberries, raspberries, or oranges for a refreshing contrast to the rich sweetness of the bars.

hi there,
The Freshman Cook started as a place to keep track of recipes I wanted to make again. Somewhere along the way, it grew into a collection of meals that friends requested, desserts that disappeared too quickly, and weeknight dinners that made life a little easier.
