Honey Bunny Bundt Cake/#BundtBakers

When I found out I would be making a bundt cake this month with honey in it for the Bundt Bakers group the honey bun popped in my mind, and I couldn't get rid of it. I don't really know why. I have eaten my share of honey buns, but not since I was a little girl. So as not to drive myself crazy, I made this Honey Bunny Bundt Cake to satisfy whatever this craving was. And now I know. My brain wanted my mouth to have this truly tasty experience.

 Honey Bunny Bundt Cake

Cake
21/2 cups Flour
21/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
2/3 cup Butter
1 3/4 cups Sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla
2 Eggs
1 1/4 cups Milk

Cinnamon Filling
1/3 cup Honey
1/3 cup packed Light Brown Sugar
1 tablespoon Ground Cinnamon

Honey Bun Glaze
2 cups Confectioner's Sugar
1/3 cup Milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
I used a mini bundt pan for this recipe. The most important
part is getting the pan prepped correctly, so here is how I do it:
Take a new, small paint brush and load it with some
shortening, like Crisco. Then "paint" the shortening
onto the inside of the pan. Make sure you get in to all
the little crevices.
Sprinkle 1-2 tablespoons of flour in each little bundt.
Flip over to empty and see what you have.
If there are any places that you want covered better, just
dab a little more crisco with your brush , sprinkle with flour,
empty the flour, and you should be good.
Make your Honey Bun filling by mixing together the honey,
light brown sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl. Set aside.

Fill the little bundts with just enough batter
to cover the bottom.

Spread some of the filling over the batter.

Swirl the filling around so it mixes with the batter.

Add a second layer of batter.
Then add more filling and swirl it around as you just did.

Place in the oven and bake for 18-20 minutes.

Loosen the edges with a toothpick and let cool.

Make your glaze by combining the confectioner's sugar,
milk and vanilla. Whisk together.

Pour glaze over the bundt cake. It will soak in and
taste incredible!
