Okra And Sausage
Ingredients
- 14.5 oz Diced tomatoes
- 14 oz Sausage, sliced
- 12 oz Frozen okra
- 2 cups Water
- 1 tbsp Minced garlic
- 1/2 tbsp Salt
- 1/2 tbsp Onion powder
- 1/2 cup Yellow onion, chopped
- 1/2 tbsp Garlic powder
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine okra, tomatoes, and water.
- Season the above mixture with:Garlic powder, Onion powder, Seasoned salt, Chopped onion, Minced garlic
- Cook over low to medium heat for 30 minutes.
- While okra is cooking, slice sausage and fry until browned on each side.
- Remove sausage from the pan and blot any excess oil.
- Add the sausage to the okra mixture.
- Simmer for an additional 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve over white rice.
