Let’s get started!
– 1 cup Shredded cheese – 1 lb ground beef – 3/4 cup white onion, chopped – Salt and black pepper – 3/4 cup pickles, chopped – 4 extra large flour tortillas – 2 cups shredded lettuce – 4 Tostada shells – Homemade Big Mac Sauce – 3 tbsp Sesame seeds
1. Using a large skillet or sauté pan, cook high-quality ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it into smaller pieces with a wooden spoon. 2. Season with salt and pepper, cooking for about 4-5 minutes. 3. Lay large tortillas on a flat surface.
4. Place a spoonful of the cooked meat mixture in the center of each tortilla, roughly the size of a tostada shell. 5. Spread Homemade Big Mac sauce evenly over the meat, then sprinkle with sesame seeds and add a tostada shell or crispy corn tortilla on top.
6. Add shredded lettuce, diced pickles, and minced onions, using fresh ingredients for the best flavor. 7. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. 8. Fold the edges of the flour tortilla tightly towards the center, creating pleats as you go. In the same skillet or a small saucepan, heat a bit of oil.
9. Place the wrap folded side down and cook over medium-high heat for about 2-3 minutes. 10. Flip and cook the other side for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown. 11. Repeat with the remaining wraps and enjoy! Use any leftover Big Mac sauce for dipping.
