Biscuit Blossoms

If you are looking for something special to serve family and/or guests, these simple and quick to make Biscuit Blossoms are sure to put a smile on the face of everyone at the table! You might just have most of the ingredients already in your fridge! The blossoms are made from Honey Crescents. I used strawberry yogurt for the filling, topped it with whipped cream, shaved milk chocolate, and a strawberry. See what I mean, simple and quick! Oh, and this is even better~make the biscuits the day before you are serving. Put them in sealed container to keep them fresh. That way on the day you are serving them, you can put them all together while your whipping cream is whipping!

Pavlova for #SundaySupper

Happy Mother's Day!
Did you know that Pavlova is perfect for your Mother's Day dessert?
What is Pavlova?
It is a dessert baked with meringue and filled with fruit.
It is just the most incredible dish! You start with meringue that you bake in a circle. Then you fill the top with fresh fruit. There are lots of recipes, but this Pavlova recipe has the added deliciousness of a bed of lemon curd that tops the meringue and gives the fruit a place to nest.

If you have never had Pavlova, you will want to try it. It is fancy, decadent, creamy and refreshing. It is a challenge to make. The humidity does not play well with the meringue, which resulted in me having to make the meringue twice. Even the second time the meringue cracked, but it was usable, and although not as perfect as I would have liked, I hate to waste, so I went with it. And it was great!

Cheeseburger in Paradise/#FoodieExtravaganza

What is a cheeseburger in paradise? Well, for me, it is a cheeseburger that I made myself. It's grilled  outside on the grill and it is topped with tropical goodness. It is eaten on the backyard porch, because that is my paradise! I stuffed my ground chuck burger with little chunks of pineapple and mango. Then I topped it with manchego cheese and fruit sauce. If you are not in paradise, you will be when you eat this!

Buffalo Wing Salad

It seems like everyone is a Buffalo Wing fan. And why not? They're tasty good and it's fun to hang out with friends, watch a game and eat wings! But, they can be fattening and messy. So why not try a Buffalo Wing Salad! They are just as tasty, and much better for our health because they are baked! We make baked chicken wings at home quite often, and we usually use a hot sauce to make them so good.  We call them Wolfpack Wings, because we are huge NC State fans. Make these wings and you have your salad wings also!
