Want to take your dessert to the next level? This creamy and wholesome whipped yogurt is your answer. Sweetened with just a touch of sugar and vanilla, it combines the perfect amount of sweetness with a slight tanginess from the yogurt.

It’s an ideal match for desserts like apple crisp, pumpkin pie, and more. Whipped yogurt will stay fresh in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days, but it doesn’t freeze well, so it’s best enjoyed fresh. Since all mixers are different, blend just until you see soft peaks that hold their shape—be careful not to over-mix.

If you store leftovers for more than a couple of days, use a regular whisk to mix the ingredients back together if they separate. Enjoy your delicious, creamy whipped yogurt as a delightful addition to your favorite desserts!

Whipped Greek Yogurt Recipe

Creamy, dreamy, and absolutely the most delicious Greek yogurt I've ever had! Let me show you how to make whipped Greek yogurt, my new favorite no-bake dessert. It's perfect for enjoying right away or making ahead. You can serve it with fresh fruit and graham crackers, or just eat it plain. Whipped Greek yogurt is exactly what it sounds like: yogurt that's been strained to remove the whey, mixed with a bit of whipping cream, and whipped until it's silky smooth and light.

  • Mixing bowl
  • Spatula

  • 1 cup 240g Whole fat or 2% plain Greek yogurt (such as Fage)
  • 1/4 cup 60g Cold heavy cream or whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt optional

  • Prepare Your Mixer: Add all the ingredients to the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment. You can also use a hand mixer if you prefer.
  • Start Mixing: Begin mixing on low speed for about 20 seconds. This helps the liquid cream blend smoothly into the yogurt.
  • Increase Speed: Gradually increase the speed to the highest setting.
  • First Whisk: Whisk for about 2 minutes. Then, reduce the speed and turn off the mixer. Use a spatula to scrape down the sides of the bowl and make sure everything at the bottom is mixed in.
  • Final Whisk: Continue whisking for another 2-3 minutes, or until soft peaks form when you lift the whisk out. The peaks won’t be super stiff, but they should stand up.
  • Store and Enjoy: Your whipped Greek yogurt is ready! Transfer it to a sealed container and store it in the fridge for up to 5 days. It will thicken a bit more as it chills.

Store your whipped yoghurt in an airtight container in the fridge. It will stay fresh for up to 4 days.
If the ingredients separate after a couple of days, just mix them back together with a regular whisk.
