Turkey Bagel Sandwich Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 medium Everything bagels
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 small Red onion
- 1 medium Ripe tomato
- 4 leaves of Lettuce romaine or green leaf
- 1 medium Cucumber
- 1/3 cup Banana peppers sliced
- 4 slices Colby Jack cheese
- 12 ounces sliced Deli turkey breast
Instructions
- Slice bagels in half horizontally and toast until slightly golden.
- While bagels are toasting, slice the red onion into very thin rings. Slice the tomato, rinse and pat the lettuce dry, and slice the cucumber.
- Lay each bagel half on a clean work surface.
- Spread each half with Dijon mustard.
- Layer lettuce, turkey, cheese, tomato slice, cucumber slices, banana peppers, and red onion.
- Top with the other half of the bagel.
- Press down on the sandwich slightly and cut in half. Enjoy!
